Paula’s Recipe of the week ~ Apricot-Plum ‘Pizza’ with Pistachio Frangipane

seasonal-bakerWhat to do with all the plums from Bev’s tree that are still in my freezer?  I tried my hand at this delicious dessert pizza from the Seasonal Baker, a fabulous cookbook by John Barricelli owner of the SoNo Baking Company.  In the Seasonal Baker, John brings everyday baking with fruits and vegetables within reach for home cooks, offering 135 sweet and savory recipes for all seasons.  This rich collection of recipes, great for beginning bakers and pros alike, is accompanied by gorgeous full-colour photography, as well as Barricelli’s family stories.  The dessert was a hit, so I’m now 4 for 4 from this cookbook – love it!!
